USN’s Zeitgeist happened on March 21st. Here is all you need to know.
Zeitgeist is a yearly student-organized music concert in USN’s auditorium, where students perform live. It is open to the public, and tickets cost $10 (cash and cards accepted). This year, it went from 3:00 to 9:30 and had an Alice in Wonderland theme. Various bands and individuals performed, and many genres were covered. Performances included slower classical songs as well as faster electric songs. Any band, singer, or musical act can perform. Anyone interested in performing in March 2027 can sign up online. Any questions can be sent to Justin Karpinos, High School Dean of Student Life, or the Zeitgeist Committee (Henry Knowles ‘26, Caden Carrabba ‘27, Breckyn Forcey ‘26, Amelia Scanlan ‘27, Miles Lewis ‘27, Zazou Gray ‘28)
Quotes from Ian Dinkins (cerdicey of the USN website):
Q: What is the mission of Zeitgeist?
A: The mission of Zeitgeist is to connect our community through music. Music is universal and able to be understood, no matter your background, culture, religion, language, or anything that would put you into a designated group. At Zeitgeist, we break free of those barriers and connect together as one community unified by the live performance of music!
