This year’s senior night is Tuesday, January 23, 2024, For the Hillsboro High School Wrestling team. They will be facing off against Cane Ridge and Centennial high schools in A tri-match.
Mikeal Trump, the head coach of the HHS wrestling team for over 9 years has been hard at work coaching both the boys and girls teams shaping them into stellar students as well as successful wrestlers.
In the sport of wrestling, athletic abilities depend heavily of strategies of critical thinking. Being able to overcome any opponent that steps into the ring requires a little research, lots of practice and mental tenacity. Every year,, Coach Trump is very excited for senior night because all of his seniors have worked very hard.
Trump shared how proud he is of his seniors. “They’ve worked so hard, especially like D-Wayne and Malacahi They’ve been with me for three years. And to see what all they’ve accomplish, Its been great. And these girls who have just come in this year to just try something new, and they’ve done really well and I’m really proud of all of them.”
