Baking is a relaxing art form that creates happiness on a cold November day. Hi! I am Sam and I like baking. Recently, I wanted to try to bake blueberry muffins. I was introduced to baking by my mom, and she is great at making sourdough bread. My sister as well, is a baker and began with baking specifically chocolate chip cookies and pies.
This inspired me to start baking for my friends and family. I wanted to do something nice for my friends and I usually bake when I am in a good mood. The below recipe is a recommendation from my sister. My older sister wanted to spend time with me, so I had her help me.
The recipe looked great, but I had to tweak two ingredients-the oil and the sugar. Instead of vegetable oil, I used avocado oil and instead of white sugar I used organic cane sugar.
I have recently become more aware of the ingredients I put in my body. So, I use all the organic ingredients. This also enhances the flavor of the blueberry muffins.
Blueberry Muffin Ingredients
These are the ingredients you’ll need to make this blueberry muffin recipe:
- For the muffins: all-purpose flour, white sugar, baking powder, salt, vegetable oil, an egg, milk, and fresh blueberries
- For the topping: white sugar, all-purpose flour, butter, and cinnamon
First, mix all-purpose flour, organic cane sugar, baking powder, and salt

Then mix in another bowl, Avocado oil, egg, and organic milk

Next add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients

Then add the best part, the blue berries and carefully mixed them in the batter

Next, comes the toppings which you mix All-purpose flour, sugar, butter, and cinnamon in a small bowl until its crumbly.
For me the toppings are the cherry on top!

When the batter is completely mixed, pour the batter into paper muffin cups that line a muffin pan.
After that I sprinkled the crumbled toppings on the batter and put them in the oven for 350-400 degrees for about 25-30 minutes.

Recipe Tip
If using a 12-cup muffin pan, you will have 4 empty cups.
Add 1 tablespoon of water to the empty cup spaces when baking.
Muffins tend to burn faster in a pan with empty cups.
