Saitama is the protagonist of the popular anime and manga series, One Punch Man widely known for his ability to defeat any opponent with a single punch.
Saitama possesses unparallel physical powers obtained by following a difficult training regimen of 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and a 10km run every day for three years.
Saitama is a bald, slim-yet-muscular man who typically wears a simple yellow jumpsuit with red gloves, red boots, and a white or red cape.
His abilities include:
Overwhelming Strength: Capable of effortlessly defeating most foes with a single, casual punch. A serious punch has been shown to destroy multiple star systems.
Immense Speed and Reflexes: He can move at massively faster-than-light speeds, creating afterimages and even outrunning his own reflection.
Invulnerability: He has never sustained damage from any attack, including planetary-level blasts.
Accelerated Development: He can rapidly adapt and grow stronger, even mirroring an opponent’s techniques and powers almost instantly during a fight.
Vacuum Survival: He can survive and fight in the vacuum of space without needing to breathe.
He became so powerful that he lost all his hair as a result of his training, but this strength came at the cost of the excitement of a real challenge. He eventually registers with the official Hero Association, taking on the hero name “Caped Baldy,” and despite his overwhelming power, his low rank often led to his feats being unacknowledged by the public. He takes on Genos as a disciple and continues his search for a meaningful challenge.
The main, climactic fight between Saitama and Awakened or Cosmic Garou begins 100 chapters later in chapter 160 of the One-Punch Man manga, where Saitama unlocks even more abilities. These abilities include:

Rapid Power Scaling: His strength and speed increased exponentially throughout the fight, forcing Garou (who was also rapidly adapting and copying Saitama’s strength) to constantly play catch-up. Garou, despite using a “Mode: Saitama” to match the hero’s power, was continually overwhelmed by Saitama’s next punch.
Emotionally Driven Boost: The death of Genos and the resulting surge of emotion and anger significantly accelerated Saitama’s growth rate to a level Garou couldn’t even register.
Martial Arts Copying: Saitama mirrored several of Garou’s difficult martial arts techniques and physical maneuvers, often mocking Garou’s claims of being a superior martial artist by flawlessly executing his moves.
Gravity Manipulation: After seeing Garou use his “Gravity Knuckle” to manipulate gravity, Saitama was able to replicate the effect.
Teleportation/Portal Usage (Implied): After Garou used a hyperspace gate to return to Earth from space, Saitama was able to follow him instantly, leading Garou to ask how he did it.

Saitama even gains unearthly abilities that allow him to control time and space:
Quantum Manipulation: Garou, in his final moments, passed on his ultimate technique to Saitama, who was then able to perfectly replicate it. This ability involved manipulating his own sub-atomic particles and anti-particles to move backward in time and reverse causality.
Timeline Alteration: Saitama used this to travel back to the beginning of the fight, where he defeated the past version of Garou with a single punch, effectively preventing all the devastating events of the “Ominous Future” timeline from ever happening.
In essence, the fight with Cosmic Garou forced Saitama to push his limitless potential to new, reality-bending levels, making him capable of interstellar feats.
