The Hillsboro Burros girls and boys basketball team swept the District 11-4A tournament for the third year in a row! This the 4th year in a row for the boys to claim a championship and the 5th year in a row for the Lady Burros win.
The following Hillsboro athletes have been selected for the Regular Season All-District Teams:

Sydnee GrahamThe Lady Burros have made it to the District Championship for the past 7 years, and Monday night’s Championship win marks the 5th straight championship. They’ve claimed victory in 6 out of the last 8 championships and beat the Cane Ridge Lady Ravens, 49-34.

The boys’ basketball team has had an impressive run in in last 4 years. They’ve won 7 out of 8 appearances, have The Burros have been a dominant force in district and Region tournaments for over six years with the run ever since their state tournament bid was unfortunately canceled due to Covid.
Both the boys’ and the girls’ teams will play in the Region 6 – 4A tournament to be held at Hillsboro beginning February 28 with the girls’ championship on March 5, at 7:oo p.m. and boys’ to be held on March 6 at 7:00 p.m.
