Beech High School leads Region 6 Class 5A and remains undefeated in win against Burros, 20-14.

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn – Hillsboro High School traveled north to Beech for Hillsboro’s third regional match-up. Beech, who has already secured a trip to the playoffs sought to preserve the momentum that an undefeated season in Week 8 would provide. Hillsboro sought improve its regional record with a win.

Beech’s Kaemon Dunlap (#8) rushed for 169 yards and 3 TDs in a showdown between running backs when Beech hosted Hillsboro for the 3rd regional match-up of the 2017 season.

And as predicted, the winning score would come down to a battle between Beech’s running back Kaemon Dunlap (169 yards/3 TDs /25 ATTs) and Hillsboro’s Jacob Frazier (190 yards/ 1 TD rushing/1 rec. /31 ATTs).

Playoff outlook has Beech (7-0; 3-0); Gallatin (6-1; 3-0) Hillsboro (3-4; 1-2) and Hillwood (2-4, 1-2) headed to the playoffs from Region 5 A.

The games  yet to be played that has significance to Region 5 are the match-ups between between to neighborhood rivals. Both the Beech-Gallatin Game and the Hillwood-Hillsboro games are set to be played October, 20th.
