Rapper French Montana and Princess Sheikha Mahra officially announced their engagement in June of 2025 during Paris Fashion Week. This shocking couple was first seen together in the United Arab Emirates in 2024, just a few months after Sheikha’s divorce. Sheikha Mahra is the daughter of Dubai’s prime minister, making her a member of the royal family. She is also the royal ambassador for Dubai’s Community Development Authority and is involved in numerous charitable activities and humanitarian causes. In September of 2024, she released her perfume brand “Mahra, M1” with her first scent “divorce” inspired by her divorce at the time. 

 During 2025 fashion week, French proposed to Sheikha shortly after his time on the runway. It wasn’t until 2 months later, though, that Sheikha would show off her new engagement ring. After the French and Sheikha officially announced their engagement, their comments were filled with confusion and excitement. One internet user commented, “How did he manage that?” while another commented, “I’m so happy for you! Your ring is beautiful!” Fellow rapper, Fat Joe, even commented on the engagement, telling French, “Don’t mess up.” While there is currently no public date for the wedding, it is believed it will take place within the next couple of years, and there is a lot of excitement surrounding it.
