Burro Beginnings for Freshmen Students and Parents on July 24
Hillsboro High School Welcomes the Class of 2021!
Ninth graders, new students and their parents are invited Burros Beginnings, a new student orientation to be held at Hillsboro High School Monday morning from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.
Students and parents attending will be meet first in the auditorium with Freshman Academy counselor, Susan Vaughn and Hillsboro’s Academy Coach, Melissa Wrenne.
Parents are invited to attend a coffee in the library hosted by the PTSO and meet veteran parents who’ve been through it all before.
Following introductions in the auditorium, students and parents will have an opportunity to meet Executive Principal, Dr. Shuler Pelham. Freshman Principal, Eric Arteberry , Freshman Academy Team Lead Kristin Moon and parent leaders from the PTSO. Several freshman and global teachers are expected to be there as well to meet and greet with students.
Students and parents will get an opportunity to tour the building, get updates on renovation progress and inquire about extracurricular activities.
